These popular slurry grades are shipped at 60% solids content and deflocculated with sodium silicate to maintain stable rheology characteristics. All the above grades are suitable for a variety of ceramic casting formulations ranging from standards bench cast to pressure cast and capillary type production systems. High permeability with good strength and plasticity are key properties of these slurry grade clays.
Moderately coarse casting clay blend with excellent clay strength. Suitable for bench and battery cast operations, or where higher clay strength is desired.

Warning: This clay product contains quartz which may cause delayed respiratory disease (silicosis) if inhaled over a prolonged period of time. Avoid breathing dust. Use NIOSH/MSHA approved respirators where TLV for crystalline quartz is exceeded. IARC Monograph Volume 68, 1997 concludes that the respirable fraction of crystalline quartz, causes cancer in humans. Refer to MSDS for complete details.
